Corrections
Iowa First Check wants to get the record right. If you believe something is incorrect or missing, email with the page, the disputed information and any supporting documentation.
How corrections work
Substantive corrections will be identified on the affected page with an explanation and date. Newly available information may be labeled as an update. Minor spelling, formatting and style changes may be fixed without a correction note.
Not every disagreement requires a correction. Iowa First Check corrects factual errors -- a wrong figure, a misattributed statement, an outdated record. A dispute over interpretation, emphasis or how a documented set of facts should be weighed is a different kind of disagreement, and is addressed on the merits rather than treated automatically as an error.
